About thisĀ Event

Date: Tuesday 25th January 2022
Time: 10.00 - 11.30am

The event will look at what role academic libraries play in supporting staff and student mental health and wellbeing.

Many academic libraries have made a strong commitment to supporting staff and student mental health and wellbeing.

This workshop will support understanding of the context within which mental health and wellbeing has become a priority nationally, for universities and for libraries.

It will reflect on the range of activities that libraries engage in to support student mental health and consider what works and why, and share next steps for an online ALN advocacy resource.

The workshop aims to help library staff to think about mental health and wellbeing in their own context, considering key questions around partnerships, resource, outcomes and student engagement.

It is suitable for everyone from those new to mental health and wellbeing to those who have their own examples of good practice to share.

Full programme for the event to follow soon. If you have any queries in the meantime, please get in touch with Nicky & Emma - academiclibrariesnorth@sconul.ac.uk.
