About this event

Date: Tuesday 8th November 2022
Time: 10.00 - 11.30am

This event will be an opportunity to launch the new mental health and wellbeing advocacy  resource.

It will be of interest to all staff interested in the issues around supporting student and staff mental health and wellbeing.

As well as showcasing the resource, participants are invited to talk about the work they have been doing, such as through a lightning talk or talking to a photo of an activity/space you have designed.

The project committee will select examples that illustrate interesting and innovative approaches to the library support of mental health and well-being, and we hope to be able to showcase a variety of good practice.

In particular, we are looking for:

  • 5 minute lightning talks on things you have done, things you want to do or tips you have learned, focused on initiatives around mental health and well-being
  • Talk to the picture: quick outlines of your spaces/ collections/events shared via a photograph that you talk the audience through
  • Anything else you want to pitch as an idea for an activity (5-10 minutes)

Please email short outlines of your proposed contribution to Andrew Cox (a.m.cox@sheffield.ac.uk) and Liz Brewster (e.brewster@lancaster.ac.uk).
